Although, the dilemma is that the government doesn't actually award any grants that help people pay off their car, mortgage, credit card debt, or any other debt. When Matthew Lesko was confronted about this issue he did not deny that the book about how to pay bills with government money wasn't completely accurate and that there were some exaggerations and untruths included. This is sad because people see these infomercials on television, or other advertisements elsewhere, and think there truly are government grants available to help them pay off debts.
Most of the information given in Lesko's books is something that the average person should be able to find out by doing a search for documents printed by the United States Government with regard to grants that they make available.
